This Epson® printing system is designed to be used exclusively with Epson® genuine cartridges. SmartValve Control Technology employs a pressure-activated valve to smoothly and rapidly deliver ink to the printheads at variable rates. MicroPiezo® ink level sensor accurately detects the ink level within the cartridge and automatically alerts the user when ink is low.
